The Gathering at Amra encapsulates a refined neo-luxury aesthetic, merging tranquility with sophisticated design in Umm Al Quwain's pioneering Blue Carbon Zone. Surrounded by water on three sides, this all day dining destination offers guests a serene sanctuary where wellness focused living meets culinary artistry. The interior palette is dominated by warm neutrals, pale creams, and rich walnut tones, creating a soothing backdrop that amplifies the therapeutic lagoon views beyond.
The spatial composition unfolds through gently flowing volumes defined by sculptural ceiling forms and terrazzo flooring in pale aggregate. Custom furniture speaks to mid-century modernism reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, featuring rounded dining chairs upholstered in natural linen, circular stone-topped tables with sculptural walnut bases, and sinuous banquette seating. Plush lounge areas with organic-shaped sofas in cream bouclé create intimate zones, while every seat is positioned to maximize water views.
Living greenery is actively woven into the design narrative, with towering olive trees rising from integrated planters and smaller specimens softening architectural edges. The lighting strategy balances suspended conical pendants that create intimate pools of illumination with recessed downlights and linear cove lighting that traces curved ceiling edges, washing surfaces in a warm glow that enhances the sense of spatial flow.

A defining feature of the space is the sculptural terrazzo banquette seating that flows through the restaurant like organic ribbons.
